Townhouse, anyone?

When we realized that our move was going to happen quickly we began praying for a 3 month rental option. We were told by many, including realtors, that it would be nigh impossible especially in the Charleston area. It was a bit discouraging as we looked at housing and apartment options. This was definitely one of those up and down things in our moving process.

After we looked at several houses and contacted several lenders regarding a possible loan for a house here, we discovered that our best bet may be a 12 month rental. It definitely wasn’t our desire and would certainly be way more expensive, but since my hubby was moving from a good job to a full-time ministry the lenders weren’t as open to lending to us for at least a year from his starting date at the church. A very long story short, the Lord dropped a lender in our laps who loved our story and wanted to help us out.

So, off to praying and looking for a 3 month rental to get us through the closing on our NC house before purchasing a house here in the Moncks Corner area. We know it was only the Lord because my hubby found this cute townhouse with an amazing owner who rented it to us for just 3 short months.

We moved in this Saturday around 1 pm and had a torrential downpour around 1:30! Thankful for the sweet men from NBCMC who helped us. My sweet hubby and littles helped me get everything unboxed and our house looking like home!

I cannot wait to have visitors and lots of late night fellowships. And, I cannot wait even more to show you pictures of our house we now have a contract on and close on the week after our NC home closes in July.

Here is a sneak peak…
