Homemade Pizza & No fail Chocolate Chip Cookies~ Day 20

landing page picture

What American doesn’t like pizza? Well, I should probably rephrase that considering I’m not the biggest lover. I was born and raised in Wisconsin’s dairy land… You know, the land of cheese! Needless to say, I’m not a huge fan of lots of cheese. Every now and then a nice slice of cheese is great, but pizza with lots of gooey cheese turns me off a little.

However, sometimes your family just begs for homemade pizza and I enjoy making it for them!

It’s fun to make our own dough and put any fixings we desire on the top! Spruce it up with lots of fresh veggies, turkey pepperoni, sausage and more. Be creative!

Homemade Pizza

1-cup water (maybe less or more depends on feel)

2 T oil

1 tsp. Salt

½ tsp. Garlic

½ tsp. Oregano

3 cups flour

2 tsp. Yeast

2 tsp. Sugar

Mix together and split into two balls. Roll out on pizza pans and let rise to double. Poke around pizza dough with a fork to avoid lots of air bubbles. Bake at 400 for about 5-7 minutes just to start the baking process. Put on sauce and other toppings of your choice. Take a stick of butter and rub it along the crust and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garlic, and oregano. Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes.

And, why not be extra bad and enjoy a small stack of chocolate chip cookies after pizza!
